Welcome to the dawn of a new cricket season! Hopefully there are now signs of Spring outside, as Milden CC prepare for the upcoming season. Since mid-February, players old and new have been training indoors on midweek evenings at the excellent Sprotts Farm facility in Polstead, which gives us a good opportunity to find some form and catch up before the forthcoming season.
Want to join Milden CC, or know somebody that wants to play cricket? We are always looking to recruit new players; anybody is welcome to join us no matter your age or experience. If you’re new to the area and looking for a club to join, you’ve been thinking about returning to the game after time away, playing cricket for the first time - or somewhere in between - then please do get in touch!
We have a good mix of all ages and experiences at the club, so at the very least come along to some net sessions, meet some of the players, and give it a try! Indoor net sessions are on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 8-9pm, until early April. We have a good player base and volunteer support “behind the scenes”, which blend together well at our friendly village club, and we look to uphold traditions of Sunday village cricket in a strong league which provides regular fixtures across Suffolk. Come along to a net session and join us.
